I wore this pretty dress to brunch in the meatpacking district this past Sunday with BarIII. This was my little "Sexy & The City" shot. Surprisingly, I did not bust my behind on that cobblestone, although I was pretty close to it! Cobblestone was definitely not made for heels. By the way, if you live in the NYC area and are looking for someplace to have brunch, I highly recommend Revel. Such great food and a cool atmosphere too.
Outfit Details
Dress: BarIII (here) / Shoes: Zara (love this strappy sandal) / Tote: Tommy Hilfiger (love this tote)

As much as I love bright colors, I also enjoy wearing neutrals and more toned down shades like this pretty peach. I've been really drawn to A-line cuts lately too. I just love the shape and they're fun to wear. I'm all for a dress that I can twirl in. I thought that these strappy shoes would add a fun little element to the look and they seriously are extremely comfortable to walk in, despite the height.
My style has always been pretty simple, but lately I feel like I have been taking this simplicity thing to a whole other level. To be honest, my mind has not been in blogging mode these past two weeks. I've had some personal things going on and this time of year is typically the hardest for me. When it comes to the internet, and social media more specifically, people only show you what they want you to see. It may seem like someone has it all together or that things are "peachy" & perfect, but that isn't always the case. Behind the smiles and perfectly placed product photos, there is usually a lot more going on beneath the surface. We all have our own personal struggles. I'm sure that I will snap out of it soon, but I just wanted to be honest and share this with you all today.
Thanks so much for taking the time to read my posts each week. <3
